Honeywell Thermostat RTH7600D Review

The Honeywell Thermostat RTH7600D is a programmable 7-day touchscreen thermostat, like most of Honeywell’s products this one is made for ease of use, and do it yourself installation. It has many features built into it including a backlit display and filter monitoring. This thermostat will help you to keep your home heated/cooled easier without having to constantly change your thermostat manually. Just program what temperature you want it at during what time of day and leave it alone.

When compared to other thermostats and models of this type the Honeywell Thermostat RTH7600D it is reasonably priced, targets a wide range of cycles for your heating and cooling needs, is easy to install, and will save you money in the long run. Anyone that is looking to save money on their heating and cooling bill, that is having a problem reading their thermostat because of those tiny numbers will benefit from this thermostat.

Honeywell wants to make their customers lives easier, their overall quality of life and with the Honeywell Thermostat RTH7600D it is just one of the ways they have tried to achieve their goal. This easy to use Programmable thermostat solves some of the problems that plague customers with certain models of commercial thermostats today.  It is packed full of features that customers will love.

The Honeywell Thermostat RTH7600D includes features such as an easy to use straightforward touchscreen display. This feature is appealing to customers since most like simple operation, and programming instructions for complex items like this. It also includes a backlit display for those dimly lit hallways, rooms, and areas that it may be installed in. It has the ability to possibly save you up to 33% on your heating and cooling bills each year, depending on your geographical location (only if it is programmed as directed).  You can program your thermostat for 7 different days and for different times of the day. Want it 68 degrees while you sleep and 72 when you get up? This thermostat can make sure that happens. It can even be programmed to have no heat or air when you’re at work.

Never worry about remembering when to change your filters again the Honeywell Thermostat RTH7600D has a filter change reminder built in. It’s time is set permanently so that you won’t have to worry about setting it again if your power fails, or even during Daylight savings time. It is compatible with many heating /cooling and heat pump systems, however, it does not work with electric baseboards that are 120-240v. It even comes with a 1 Year limited warranty.

Another great feature that the Honeywell Thermostat RTH7600D has it’s the ease of installation, the manual tells you clearly how to wire it.  The wires are labeled with marked stickers to show you exactly were to attach what wire to.  You have wired or battery powered options.

The Honeywell Thermostat RTH7600D’s feature of auto-change from heat to cool this works well especially in areas of the world that may have really cool days one day and really warm days the next. It will save you on heating and cooling bills that way without having to switch it back and forth manually you will have it on a gradual heat up or cool off for those days instead of a major spike of heat up or cool down.

What are the Pros and Cons of owning a Honeywell Thermostat RTH7600D? There are a few of them.

The Pros are a bit more than the Cons:

  • Able to customize your household heating/cooling for 7 days for 4 different periods per day.
  • Has a choice of either being powered by wire or 2 “AA” batteries. Even has a low battery indicator if using a battery
  • Its Smart Response Technology keeps you from having to manually adjust it allowing you to pre-heat/cool your home within 1 degree of your programmed choice.
  • Compatible with Most heating/cooling and heat pump systems
  • Green System – it will allow you to save energy up to 33 percent if used properly.
  • Your settings are maintained even if you have a power outage
  • Clock is maintained even with Daylight savings time which is an option.
  • Has a 1-year limited warranty

Not many Cons:

  • Not compatible with electric heat baseboards that are 120 to 240 volts
  • Advanced programming uses codes not words but the manual explains these codes clearly.
  • Backlight doesn’t seem easy to turn on for some
  • Does not have a vacation mode.

Consider owning this product if your wanting to go Green and save energy and money on your heating/cooling bill.  If you want a really compatible thermostat for single stage, multi-stage or even pump heating and cooling.  Since it is not compatible for electric heat baseboards that are 120 to 20 volts it is not recommended that you try and buy it for one.

But where can buy the best commercial thermostat online for the lowest price? Searching around you compare models find many places like Nextag and many more that offer this thermostat for a low price.

Many customers have been very happy with particular model of Honeywell touchscreen thermostat. Stating that it is a great model, it has cool features, easy to install if you pay attention to the instructions, and easy to adjust. The only reviews that some, customers seem to have a problem with is the backlight and not being able to adjust the brightness or how long it stays on.

If you’re still wondering if you should buy this product go over its stats and other information here at the Honeywell site itself.

Also to help you decide on buying the product here are a few customer reviews as well. These are some reviews from real customers. Hopefully by reading some of these reviews you will be able to make up your mind on whether this particular commercial thermostat is the one that will suit your needs.

Back to work looking for clients etc…

Since my mother passed away I haven’t worked much if at all, so now I am actively looking for new clients again. Clients that need books reviewed, articles written and etc. To pay the bills you gotta work and to work you gotta have clients which help you make money.

I will now be adding in a new section to my work day, jewelry making so hopefully I can get that business up and off the ground too. I will be taking orders for special made items as well as just selling what I already have made from my Mother’s stash and what I make. I have posted pictures of some of the jewelry already on Google+ and Facebook and gotten positive reactions for them and so when I start to actually sell them I hope they do sell well. I am hoping that I will start selling within the month and by next month as well. I will also graduate to handmade objects also.

The jewelry I make is handmade some are American Indian style others are just interesting. I can make them in all colors and not just for women either.

Contact me for a quote on my services or for jewelry orders.

Missing Posts

If you see posts or have noticed that posts are missing that is because I have had them moved over to my new personal blog that you can find the link at the bottom of the page. I will be starting to fill this site up with information that is more worthy of a writer instead of what it contained. So stay tuned here, and jump over to the blog every now and then as well, and if your a gamer hit the Tales from Distant Realms as well.

Connecting

I am trying to connect out a bit more with the world by using Linked In and Twitter. I refuse to go back to Facebook it seems to be more like MySpace was. So I am now using Google + which to me is becoming the new Facebook really. I need to start using Twitter more often; I used to use it a good bit when I first signed up and then just quit all together but will have to ease back into it. Have added all my info into LinkedIn hopefully that will get me a bit of extra work or even a big Gig. If anyone knows of anything other sites that would help let me know.

Almost There

The new site is almost finished we just have a few tweaks and adjustments to make now. We hope you will like it just as much as we will once we are completely finished with it.

It’s What I Do

I’m a creator it’s what I do, so I feel it is time to change up the website a bit and make it more towards that side of me. I already have a section for my writing, so I feel it is time to add in a section for any graphics work I do. Hopefully some of this will generate a bit more business for me in my writing career as I am trying to get more into it.

It will take me a small amount of time to get this done but once done it will be an easier flow through for clients to see my work and blogs as well. I hope all of you will like the changes that are coming.

Have a great day,

Christine
